Shiloh (Pittsburg Landing):
Shiloh National Military Park has several monuments and markers relating the 31st Indiana Volunteer Infantry. The park is secluded and away from large populations and gives a visitor a special feeling of closeness to the battle. The Monuments in this park are magnificent and are a study in themselves. Shiloh has a very good and easy to use marker system and map. It is also a good nature park.

Below is the Indiana Monument for the 31st Indiana at Shiloh National Military Park. It is Monument No. 87 and is located just off the sunken road. The easiest way to get to the monument is to walk from the Peach Orchard stop No. 13 and walk the sunken road. You will pass the George Manse cabin on your left. It is halfway between the Hamburg Savannah Rd and the Eastern Corinth Rd on the Sunken Road.
